Douglas M. Galen, D.D.S.
Dr. Douglas M. Galen is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has been practicing in Beverly Hills since 1995. A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Galen completed his undergraduate education at UCLA before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completing his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Galen holds the distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) — a credential earned by fewer than half of all practicing oral surgeons and representing the highest standard of specialty certification in the field. He is also a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).
Beyond his private practice, Dr. Galen serves as Attending Faculty at the UCLA School of Dentistry and as an Attending Surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center — two appointments that keep him at the forefront of surgical education, research, and technique. He is also a designated Anesthesia Evaluator for the California Dental Board, responsible for assessing the anesthesia safety standards of dental practices throughout the state.
